Overload Switch Play Grid — Crossing and finishing — wide delivery into the box · 40 x 30 yards

Step 1 of 5Team keeps the ball in one wide zone until the switch is on.

  1. 1. Team keeps the ball in one wide zone until the switch is on.
  2. 2. A switch across the middle zone scores one point.
  3. 3. The receiving zone must take a controlled first touch forwards.
  4. 4. The spare player joins whichever side has the ball, so the attack always works with a plus-one.
  5. 5. A goal or completed end action counts double if the spare player touched the ball in the build-up.
  • Cones mark the area
  • Full goal
  • Dashed lines = wide crossing channels
  • Ball
  • Solid arrow = pass, thick = shot, dashed = run / dribble
