Setup

  1. 1Mark a square.
  2. 2Everyone has a ball, two players wear bibs as taggers.
  3. 3Spare balls outside the square.

Coaching instructions

  1. 1Taggers dribble and try to tag others with their hand while keeping their ball.
  2. 2Tagged players do five toe taps then rejoin.

Coaching points

  • -Head up to spot the taggers early
  • -Change speed and direction to escape
  • -Keep the ball close in traffic
  • -Use the whole area, don't hide in a corner

Common mistakes

  • -Kicking the ball far ahead to escape
  • -Bunching into one corner
  • -Head down while dribbling
