Pitch set-up: Overload Figure Eight MasteryS12320 x 14 yards

Overload Figure Eight Mastery — Finishing set-up — serve, receive, shoot · 20 x 14 yards

Step 1 of 5Players dribble the figure-eight using inside and outside of the foot only.

  1. 1. Players dribble the figure-eight using inside and outside of the foot only.
  2. 2. Each lap finishes with an explosive three-yard burst out of the last turn.
  3. 3. Swap the leading foot every lap.
  4. 4. The spare player joins whichever side has the ball, so the attack always works with a plus-one.
  5. 5. A goal or completed end action counts double if the spare player touched the ball in the build-up.
  • Cones mark the area
  • Full goal
  • S = server
  • Ball
  • Poles to run around
  • Dotted arrow = rotation between repetitions
  • Shooter becomes the next server
  • Solid arrow = pass, thick = shot, dashed = run / dribble
