  4. 4. Play starts at station one and the ball works round the numbers in order.
  5. 5. Every player must complete each role once before the round is scored.

Setup

  1. 1A central receiving zone in front of a goal in a 30 x 22 yards area.

  • -Feel the defender before the ball arrives
  • -Strong base, arm out to hold the space
  • -Set with a firm, accurate ball
  • -Follow your pass — the movement is part of the practice

Common mistakes

  • -Standing still waiting for the pass
  • -Taking a touch straight into the defender
  • -Staying in a favourite role and avoiding the harder one
