Setup

  1. 1A pitch with a target player in an end zone at each end in a 32 x 24 yards area.
  2. 2Add one extra defender to the working area and mark their start position with a flat cone.

  • -Protect the ball and wait for the second runner rather than forcing it

Common mistakes

  • -Hitting the target with no support
  • -Only passing sideways and backwards
  • -Trying to beat two players instead of releasing early
