  3. 3. Defender scores by winning the ball and dribbling out.
  4. 4. The clock starts the moment the first pass is played in.
  5. 5. The sequence must reach the end action inside eight seconds or the rep is void.

Setup

  1. 1A wide channel with a defender and two attackers in a 30 x 20 yards area.
  2. 2Set a visible timer or have an assistant count aloud from the side of the area.
  3. 3Balls with the wide attacker, bibs for the defender.

  • -Support runner stays wide enough
  • -Finish the move, don't over-pass
  • -Pass with pace and intent — under-hit passes cost the clock

Common mistakes

  • -Passing before the defender commits
  • -Both attackers running the same line
  • -Slow, sideways passing that burns the clock
