Objectives
- -Close space quickly then set to make the save
- -Stay big and patient in the 1v1
- -Smother loose balls safely
Setup
- 1Full goal, keeper on the line.
- 2Attacker starts 25 yards out with a ball.
- 3Cone at 12 yards as a pressing reference for the keeper.
Coaching instructions

- 2Keeper makes the save or forces the attacker wide.

Coaching points
- -Fast out, slow to set as the attacker takes a touch
- -Stay tall until the shot is committed
- -Hands low and wide for the block save
- -Force the attacker away from the middle of the goal
Common mistakes
- -Diving in at the attacker's feet too early
- -Standing still and letting the attacker choose
- -Going to ground with hands behind the body
