Objectives
- -Groove the core mastery moves
- -Raise heart rate with the ball
- -Develop both feet
Setup
- 1Each player has a 5 x 5 yard box marked by four cones.
- 2Ball starts in the middle of the box.
- 3Coach positioned where everyone can see.
Coaching instructions
- 1Thirty seconds work, fifteen seconds rest, six stations.
- 2Rotate through toe taps, sole rolls, V-pulls, inside-inside and drag-backs.
- 3Players count touches and try to beat the previous round.
- 4Every touch, pass and finish must be with the weaker foot.
Coaching points
- -Balanced on the toes with a soft knee
- -Light, quick contacts rather than heavy stabs
- -Keep the ball inside the box
- -Plant foot pointed at the target
- -Slow the action down to keep quality high
