Setup

  • -Approach at a slight angle
  • -Plant foot firm and pointing at the target
  • -Drive through the ball, do not scoop it
  • -Take the touch away from pressure
  • -Protect the ball with the far foot and body

Common mistakes

  • -Trying to hit it too hard
  • -Static plant foot too far behind
  • -Aiming for power over placement
